Meet your CE/CLE Requirements

Attorneys who have North Carolina Bar licenses must take twelve (12) credit hours of NC Bar-approved CLE annually. Two (2) of these credit hours must be Ethics, one (1) must be Mental Health/Substance Abuse and nine (9) can be additional Ethics or Mental Health or General CLE. Our Trial Preparation course satisfies three (3) credits of General CLE for attorneys.

Every third year, licensed attorneys must take one (1) credit hour of Mental Health/Substance Abuse. We currently offer this course as a part of our Ethics & Professionalism program. If an attorney has satisfied the other CLE requirements and only needs one (1) Mental Health credit, he/she may request our bar-approved DVD course for full course credit or attend the Mental Health/Substance Abuse portion of a course, usually at 10 am..

Paralegal requirements are changing in North Carolina. Please visit the web site for details. Once paralegals are certified, they must take six (6) hours annually to maintain their certification. At least one (1) of those credit hours must be Ethics, although they may choose to take Ethics for all six (6) credit requirements.

LIVE WEBINARS: Three (3) hours of live Ethics, Professionalism and Mental Heath CLE. Please see the calendar for dates or  visit our webinar site to register.

NOTE: Our DVD courses meet NC-Bar approved CLE requirements. You may request a DVD when you register or by contacting us. Fees are the same as on-site course fees.
